I believe that your KVM switch belongs to this type which have only can "emulated" limited number of keyboard and mouse in the market, because it is impossible to cover all type of keyboard mouse with a "super emulator" on a small KVM switch.

Because, it is not using "emulation" structure and also eliminate the need to re-enumerate connected USB devices when user select to different target computers. The result is much faster KVM switching and no compatibility issue. I got my keyboard to work properly but my mouse will not work with the kvm switch. The set only came with one receiver and I think that may be my problem. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.

Hi, 1 Have you made any recent changes to the computer? You may try the following methods and check if it helps. Method 2: I would suggest you to reinstall the latest version of Intellipoint software for the Microsoft Mouse. How satisfied are you with this reply? Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site.

In reply to Anoop P K's post on March 24, I have not installed any software and made any significant change. I have connected it to another port on the same laptop but it made no difference. I connected it to an XP Home computer but the problem symptom was the same. It often works a few seconds and then stops.
