The story line is pretty good and Lee Minho does a fair job, but… Park Minyoung just like.. She seems… fake. Or maybe I think that because..
Anyways, this used to be my first-on-list for the week to watch.. I watch is becoz of Lee Min Ho who acted well in this drama. Becos they r a family. Da Hye has been carrying the biggest crush for her own brother! So he is tracking her down so as to blackmail the pres. Thankgod someone else agrees. Yes, the main reason I started watching and am continuing to watch is because of Lee Minho and the other casts.
I agree that Park Minyoung got very lucky to be casted with such high-demand actors… I would be much more happy watching this drama if someone else were playing her role, or at least, she had a less of an annoying character. I really love this drama. I mean theres an amazing story line and the action scene… I totally love this drama! Real2y like this drama coz, the story line is difficult to predict what happen 4 the next ep. Lee Minho said in an interview that there will be a major and shocking twist in the end.
In this drama the actress Park Min Young was lost her unique character because she is always perform only one way. Why did the director choose this actress Park Min Young???? Is that according to SungKyunKwan Scandal image????? The theme of the City Hunter is good. But the scenes which the actor and actress performed together was disappointed. I like korean drama series but sometime I have lost the feeling on this play because of like that actor or actress.
I was embarrassed the other actors who were portrayed together. Lee Min-ho has become a very good actor as compared to his earlier dramas. Because his mom said … M. SO I think that …may be J. And kim nana is assigned to presidential guard duty.
No one die…. Surely she is a honest person and she truely loves her husband. He had shown that he is capable of protraying diff roles.. LMH is totally awesome. How can someone so HOT can act so fine. I am waiting like crazy for wednesday to come and the suspense is killing me. Give us more LMH. The young politician slept w a bar-maid??? He already had a family? Da Hye is so much younger than YS. And when he does, he is only teaching the president how to cut n paste.
YS will try to protect the president? In my opinion, lack of romance or how the breakup has been handled has been killing the last few episodes, made it could stay on its peak. Park Min Young is absolutely a Korean beauty. I love her as much as Lee Min Ho maybe a little less Lee Min Ho is the best!!! I hope to see him making other beautiful projects. He is a brilliant actor. He has the sweetest smile!!! Everyone wants City Hunter to be longer, much longer than 20 eps.
But the schedule of shooting KD is really punishing. Many of them end up in the hospital when filming wraps up. Bae Yong Joon used to call the hours: non-human. Added to that are the physical demands of the action sequences in this drama. Sometimes it takes 20 hours of non-stop shooting to give us a min action scene. I hope LMH and the others rest well after 20 eps. This drama makes me squeal like a high school girl while getting into the action scenes like its another boxing match.
Just sitting here waiting for the grand finale!!!! But I think I will cry when it all ends T. Just love their love team… i also wish that the ending would have them both alive and together…. I love this drama. Good script and acting in each episode. I love everyone in this drama…. They all worked hard for the series. Eps have been fantastic. Ep have been less so. Mostly becos the Prosecutor has been a pain in the axx.
I like LJH a lot, but the way the prosecutor has been written is really irritating. He was supposed to be gun ho on justice, only to become protective of his father when the latter was shown to be a criminal. Instead of chasing the CH, he should be chasing the criminals that CH exposes. Also, in every country only the most accomplished n experienced guards get to protect the president. S Korea would be a sad place if its best guard is NaNa! She is not given much of a role to play in these eps, when the 3 of them should be forming a triangle that brings fear into the hearts of all criminals.
As it is, the vet is also just a decorative piece. LMH is really fantastic, but the writer is not making full use of the characters.

Both of the cast are doing a great job in this drama which make the whole drama seem interesting and excited. City Hunter is my favourite drama. This drama — the BEST drama in This drama made me realize how much I love Lee Minho! I am so hooked on this drama, that I actually watched the whole season over twice, in prep for the finale! I know. I love the story of City Hunter. Action, drama, romance, Comedy…it has all the ingredients of perfection. Well…I can really say…I am enjoying this k-drama sooooooo much!!! The writing is excellent, the director is very good and the actors are the best. Great, great story. The only drawback about it is…Lee Min Ho, although a very good and intense actor, has too much charisma on screen, too gorgeous for his own good…. His smile…is…OMG! I wish this has a season 2! I love, love, love this drama.
Really one of the best drama I have seen and I have seen a lot. Best of !!! Love everything about it! I admit Minho is so freaking addicting. Lee you are amazing boy or man anyway I like so much,I hope that you will get the oskar reward for a pretty films.

I love this drama and LMH! His acting has improved so much!! She had her first surgery when she was in junior high. I guess she is not a nice person and also thinks she should have more action part in the drama. There is a lot of controversy about her in the SBS site. Here is her before and after potos. She admitted having plastic surgery after someone posted her before photo. MY Dear Yuki , I think ppl can do whatever to their face or body.

Plastic surgery is quite common place in S Korea. Many parents give it as a hi school graduation gift to their children. Why get all upset abt it????
Oh no! I spoke too fast. I just saw ep In this ep, the Prosecutor finally comes to terms w CH n acknowledges his ways that r more effective than the law. He gives his life to protect the secret document, so that CH can retrieve it expose the bad guys n their deeds.
I am sorry that an enlightened Prosecutor has to die. Hopefully, the rest of them can have a chance at a new life! I saw the pictures of episode If I am not wrong, JP sacrifice himself and made himself look like the City Hunter so that YS could be cleared and get a new lease of life.
He actually emptied his gun barrel to pretend to shoot at the guards so that the guards will shoot him. There is no more mention of Prosecutor.
If one of them has to die, then better Prosecutor than CH. YS n President come to know abt their own relationship. JP dies. The 20 guys who were killed 28 years ago get recognized as national heroes. NaNa n YS see each again. And YS drives into the night! I keep it cryptic so u can enjoy the show. Dear Show, You made me laugh.

It made me excited to go home every friday afternoon because i know the english subs would be available by then. Two months passed so quickly, and its the best two months of the year so far… why?
It was so cool… I will keep on waiting for the next drama of these two people.. Kudos to the scriptwriter, the director, the management, the staff, the people behind the camera and most of all, all the cast especially Yung Song and Nana… You are all so great and wonderful..

I enjoyed it so much for past 10 weeks; every Wednesday and Thursday had been my highlight. Lee Min Ho, you not only has great look, but also has so much potential in acting. Keep up your good work and good look!
So long, City Hunter. Anyway, like I said, City Hunter is the best! Lee Min Ho did a great job! You did well! That the romance was scaled back, for whatever reason, was a pity. The two of them sure look good together: Same big eyes n shape of face. NaNa has a piece of luggage when she runs into YS, so that must be the airport.
But After that, YS is seen driving into the night alone in Korea. While not a cliff-hanger, it is left deliberately ambiguous. KDs sure loathe to give us happy endings! The ending does not tell the story clearly. I do not know whether Yoon Sung and Na Na come together at the end. Yoon Sung rides alone in the last shot seems a little bit odd! By the way, I do see the association of this drama with the Japanese comic. It is a very different story from the Japanese one, even they share the same name.
To desire. I was confused. What a good show, but a bit too bloody at the start and at the end. To Angus, where do you find the original Japanes comic? Thanks in advance. No drama is without flaws. But rarely do you find a drama that has great writing, skillful directing and intense acting. Great characters, great background music, great surprises, great plot, awesome cliffhangers on every episode and overall just a great drama. Is this the end of this drama I mean ep 20? Anyway this drama is awesome love Lee min ho oppa and kim na na …I hope there is some more coming soon with a happy ending lol. Ididn t like the end but i have to admit the the casting was wonderful the couple lee min hoo and park min young was the best love both of them sarang ye oppa and unnie too fighting i hope that will be special episode because i can t forgzt about the end i didn t like it at all.
Love this drama. Best drama of Hope there will be CH sequel. Min Ho you are the best. Many people thought she was out of line for changing the story line. I was so disappointed when I saw a photo of her before her plastic surgeries. First of all thank you for your reply and clarifications! For me, City Hunter had an excelent end w8 any kisses or hugs but i expect a special episode to clarify the relationships between LMN and his family that includes kim nana too.

In answer to Questions like those in , there is some discussion on the net that CH has actually died! That bullet goes thru his left chest after all, where his heart is! She sees him at the airport? Well, it can be just her fantasy that she sees him. After that, we see him driving Alone in Korea at night. That can be a throw back to earlier days, n it may be his spirit that is overlooking the city. The ending is open to this interpretation.
I see so many people are confused here about the ending as I was. Even after the drama is over, there are so many discussions about her poor acting especially towards the end of the drama and most people blame PMY for lower rating than expected.

She asked to have more action than romance is correct, because she is safety guard in the president house. The romance between them is just adequately.
We can obviously see them loving each other deeply. It was shown from eye, face, the way they watch to each other etc. Plastic surgery is nothing in Asia countries. We should not take the event to judge how good or how bad of the people. They made the drama very successful. It is great drama so far in What does it say? But who would be able to survive that kind of injury, bullet straight piercing into his heart. After all, the old man had killed some innocent people, even police officers.
I think they both acted very well, their romance was very convincing and created some highlights of the drama. But later, the romance went downhill. Does anyone think one who wears makeup differently today, as oppose in the olden days? The ending was really disappointing.. I only was able to find out by searching.. The drama was grate at the beginning, but later it was very boring. What the producer says is one thing; what we see with our own eyes is another.
His words fail to be convincing, if we see sth different on screen. If that ending stands on its own, without any insistence by producer, PD, etc. No one wants YS to die, but if the pieces of the puzzle put together suggests it for some ppl, then that is their conclusion. I do think that they leave enough room to let the viewer decide their own ending. MINHO plz give a gud explaination.. What I like about these Korean shows, is they leave me in better space than the US productions.
Although as a westerner there are things with KDramas I find cringeful, yet am able to forgive. Whatever the reason we can only speculate.
The weakness I believe, is in the story. Great characters, great background music, great surprises, great plot, every episode a great cliffhanger, and overall just a great drama. I thought he cant be better then his appearence in BOF.. I hope SBS will make city hunter season 2….. The BEST korean action drama. The ending was both sad and happy.. Oh my!!! City Hunter needs a season 2!!!! As much as the ending concludes the story, it still ends on a cliff hanger, which begs us fans for more!!!!!
We are not satisfied. You hear that producers!!! I loved ep1 it ws full of emotions. I couldnt stop screaming. Wae action romance drama these day always end with sad scene?!! I mad on this drama because it had a very good story line and off course the good,handsome and pretty main cast too. I am very confused with the ending…it Lee yoon sung dead? Really confusing me…. Ep3 was gr8! Ep4 liked it too.. Ep5 was romantic.. Everyone up for Season 2?????
I just ended ep Aaaahhh did kim young jo really died?? Finished ep I think Rain is more compatible being City Hunter. More like comical. Funny, smart, sexy, handsome, and playboy absolutely. Le Min Ho is too cute to be City hunter. And I think Son Ye Jin is nice. By the way cute version about this City Hunter with Min Ho is not bad. For me, as much as I anticipated the last few episodes to see what happens next, I found the earlier episodes more entertaining.
The last episodes were just so I knew how the story ended. I did however, cry when Prosecuter Kim Youngju died. I think that was the only time I was really balling my eyes out for this drama. Just watch it. Great job lee min hoo.. Lee Min Ho your acting skills is really really good.. I love this drama very mush although the end was sad specially when Kim Young Joo died also Lee Jin Pyo his death was very sad but I expected that.
Lee Yoon Sung is very nice and his action act was very very very wonderful. Ep7 is thrilling.. At first i really underestimate this drama, this drama dont come up on my must-watch-kdrama list… I doubt lee min ho will do a good job here.. But, voilaa with just the first two episodes this drama catch my attention and my heart.. Ep8 was wow.. Really love this drama so much.. Great series over all.
