California pack trials 2011

The PlantHaven team was excited to share with you our newest batch of cool new introductions from our global plant breeder community. CAST At the Santa Barbara Polo Club. March 30th — April 2nd, a. New Location! Time-slots are for one hour, starting every 15 minutes. That first day, the group will visit the Paul Ecke Ranch in Encinitas and Proven Winners in Bonsall; during the trip north toward Ventura Beach, a visit to a California winery will break up the ride. Following that stop, the group goes to Ball Horticultural Co.

Lunch will be hosted by Ball. After this stop, participants will be able to rest on the bus for a while during the drive north to Salinas to visit both Sakata and American Takii. At the end of the day, participants will spend the night at the Courtyard Salinas. Close by is Syngenta Flowers, which will host lunch.

Following this stop, everyone will enjoy cold beers and California wines on the bus while they drive north to the Wyndham Hotel in San Jose. This package trip includes the cost of first-class hotel accommodations for five nights from March , bus transportation from San Diego Airport on the first day to San Jose on the last day, lunches on travel days, and three experienced horticultural guides.

This all-virtual event, which includes a combination of pre-recorded and live experiences, is designed to help attendees engage with big-picture trends and learn how to apply these shifts to streamline costs and generate revenue.

Interested parties can click here to register. After the fireworks fade, growers, retailers and horticultural suppliers typically pack a truck for Columbus and Cultivate. But, as usual, took our plans and tossed them out the window. However, there is a free registration option for attendees who want to walk the virtual trade show floor and visit exhibitors.

From there, you have several options. You can click on exhibitor halls to enter the alphabetically-ordered hall of nearly exhibitors. You can go the main stage, which is where major keynote speakers will be presenting their talks throughout the event.

You might want to sharpen up your typing skills, because most of the communication at Cultivate Virtual will take place via chat box. You can chat directly with other attendees or exhibitors in several ways. You can always access the current attendee list from the navigation bar. The instant messaging system will be familiar to anyone who has experience with Skype, Teams, etc. The green, yellow and red circle next to your name shows other attendees whether you are available to chat, away from your computer, or busy.

You can start chats direct from the list, or have small group or public chats, depending on where you are in the virtual trade show. For instance, every morning in the networking lounge, you can meet and interact with other attendees during the Morning Coffee Chat. And of course, you can visit exhibitors in their booths or at the New Varieties Zone and New Products areas. Fortunately for me, it is my job and we look forward to presenting you with comprehensive coverage each year and are always looking for new ways to do just that.

My traveling companions were our Contributing Editor Dr. Many are already posted on GGTV.
