Podiatric residency programs list

The podiatric medicine and surgery residency is a resource-based, competency-driven, assessment-validated program that consists of three years of postgraduate training in inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical management. A license to practice podiatric medicine is issued by individual states. Requirements for licensure and the scope of practice vary from state to state. Clinic This program has a resident run clinic in the hospital offered to patients twice a week. There is a wide diversity of patients with a variety of podiatric pathology. Residents are given the independence to choose appropriate treatments for patients, including surgical options for patients.

Pathologies include clubfoot, cavus foot, cerebral palsy, and flatfoot. Residents are in Honduras for one week which includes screening process and surgical days. MetroWest Medical Center collects an application fee from students of Podiatric Medicine for its foot and ankle training program. An application is not considered complete until the fee is received.
